So the
lineup dropped yesterday. Interesting selection. Elton John should be a fun show, I saw him once about 20 years ago, good performer. There are some returning favorites of mine; Jack White, Skrillex, Carolina Chocolate Drops have all put on great shows at 'roo. I've wanted to see Die Antwoord for a while now, I think that would be an awesome late night show. I was surprised to see one name on the list:
Kanye West
Are you kidding me? Seriously? After how well his last "appearance" at Bonnaroo went? For those who weren't at 'roo 2008, here are some examples of outpouring of overwhelming gratitude and love from rooers after his performance.
Whoever booked Kanye must have a pretty perverse sense of humor.
